Production of counterweights for washing machines in plastic molds

Volumetric vibromolding method

Production of counterweights in plastic molds is carried out by the volumetric vibromolding method. The essence of the method is that the concrete mixture in the entire volume of the product is vibrated together with the mold installed on the vibrating table.

Advantages of the volumetric vibromolding method:

  • production of counterweights with concrete density from 2000 kg/m3 to 5000 kg/m3
  • production of counterweights with a smooth surface without popouts
  • versatility and simplicity of the molding equipment

By this method, it is preferable to produce counterweights with a complex configuration using a metal embedded part.

The counterweight configuration is provided by the inner surface of the plastic half-molds, and the presence of locks and limiters for the movement of the metal embedded part in the plastic half-molds ensure its precise positioning in the counterweight, which reduces the possibility of cracking during transportation and installation on the washing machine tub.

Vibrocompression method

Production of weights for elevators and counterweights for gas stoves is carried out by the vibrocompression method. The essence of the method is that the semi-dry concrete mixture is compacted under the simultaneous influence of vibration and pressure.

Advantages of the vibrocompression method:

  • production of counterweights and weights with concrete density from 2000 kg/m3 to 4000 kg/m3
  • accuracy of geometric shapes and sizes of products
  • high productivity with low labor intensity of production

By this method, it is preferable to produce bulk products with a simple configuration.

The configuration of the product is provided by the tooling. Since the vibrocompression of products is performed on a molding pallet with immediate demolding, only one surface can have a complex configuration.

Semi-dry pressing method

The essence of the method is that in the concrete mixture under high pressure, the aggregate particles are combined at the molecular level.

Advantages of the hyperpressing method:

  • accuracy of geometric shapes and sizes of products
  • high productivity with low labor intensity of production
  • possibility to manufacture products with a complex configuration

By this method, it is preferable to produce products of complex configuration without large height differences and the absence of a metal embedded part in the product.

Production of composite counterweights for washing machines

Pressing method

Production of composite counterweights is carried out by pressing a mixture of composite material.

Advantages of the method:

  • accuracy of geometric shapes and sizes of products
  • possibility to manufacture products of any configuration
  • increase in the bending strength of the counterweight by 6-8 times compared to reinforced concrete counterweights

By this method, it is preferable to produce counterweights, in which it is necessary to provide high bending strength characteristics, which cannot be achieved by the method of volumetric vibromolding.
